Sacombank are directing towards unheard-of ways of approaching customers, apart from the Bank’s modern services and professional serving style with which its customers are always satisfied. Hoa Viet Branch is one of the first products of that breakthrough thinking. The Branch aims to not only serve the Vietnamese Chinese customers but also attract potential customers from Chinese speaking nations (such as China, Taiwan and Hong Kong) with services of Chinese characteristics.  

Vietnam has been emerging as an attractive destination of capital influx. And the trade tie-up among Vietnam, China and other Chinese speaking countries are more strengthened. However many investors hit the language hurdle on doing business by Chinese which is just popular in Cho Lon downtown, Hochiminh City. Furthermore, Chinese skills of Vietnamese banks’ staff now is still limited.

Seizing this opportunity, Sacombank quickly came up with the idea to open Hoa Viet Branch to serve Chinese speaking customers (including Mandarin, Cantonese, Fukienese, Teochowese ....). Basing on fluent Chinese skills, the Branch staff is actively learning Chinese customs for better service quality. To facilitate customers in transactions, the Branch’s decoration, uniform, movie, leaflet and brochure are all described in Chinese style.

Sacombank - Hoa Viet Branch officially went into operation on 10th August 2007 to serve more than 500.000 Chinese residents who are living and working in HCMC, of which 30% is Chinese – owned enterprises. The Branch locates in 382A-B Tran Hung Dao District 5 Ho Chi Minh city. Sacombank - Hoa Viet Branch debut has marked another stripe on Sacombank’s way towards a specialized bank model.
