Ms. Nguyễn Phương Huyền, Member of the Management Team of SACOMBANK, and Mr. Nguyễn Văn Thành, Deputy Head of the HCMC Tax Department, at the signing ceremony.
The signing ceremony was held at the headquarters of the HCMC Tax Department, with the participation of representatives from the Tax Department’s leadership, SACOMBANK’s Management Team, and relevant functional units from both sides.
Household businesses constitute a vital component of the private economic sector, contributing significantly to economic growth, employment generation, and social welfare. Amid increasingly stringent tax regulations and the strong national push toward digital transformation, enabling household businesses to properly understand and effectively implement requirements related to electronic invoicing, tax declaration, and business management has become an urgent priority.
Responding to this need, the cooperation agreement aims to enhance coordination in communication, guidance, and practical support, helping household businesses gradually adapt to a modern, transparent, and compliant business environment.
Under the agreement, the two parties will jointly organize communication and outreach activities to disseminate new tax policies to business households under 29 subordinate local tax offices of the HCMC Tax Department. The collaboration will also include detailed guidance on registration, declaration, and usage of electronic invoices, including tax authority-authenticated e-invoices and e-invoices generated directly from cash registers.
In parallel, both sides will coordinate with reputable software solution providers to facilitate access to appropriate technological tools for household businesses. These solutions include cash register-linked e-invoicing systems, sales management software, digital signature services, POS devices, and other supporting applications. Throughout the implementation process, SACOMBANK will introduce financial and banking products and services tailored to the practical needs of household businesses, thereby supporting stable operations and sustainable development.
To ensure effective execution, both parties have agreed to establish dedicated communication channels for information reception and technical support, enabling timely resolution of issues arising during implementation. Dedicated personnel will be assigned to coordinate at the 29 subordinate local tax offices, ensuring adequate and professional resources for the cooperation program.
At the ceremony, a representative of the HCMC Tax Department emphasized that collaboration with SACOMBANK and relevant partners will create favorable conditions for household businesses to access updated tax policies, enhance compliance, improve transparency in operations, and accelerate digital transformation within the household business sector.
A representative of SACOMBANK affirmed that, leveraging its experience in financial technology deployment and its extensive operational network, the Bank is committed to accompanying tax authorities in providing safe, convenient, and legally compliant payment, management, and electronic invoicing solutions for household businesses.
