Sacombank received awards in retail banking and community activities

2023 is the 11th year the Vietnam Outstanding Banking Awards takes place. The award has built a position and reputation in the banking industry, helping banks to recognize and re-evaluate business performance, promote communication activities and attract customers, thereby improving quality and business efficiency. The Voting Council consists of representatives of regulatory agencies and experts in the field of finance - banking and information technology in the banking industry.
Sacombank was voted as the " Outstanding Retail Banking Award 2023 " thanks to stable customer growth and customer base which exceeded 15 million by 2022, operation scale and large network of transaction points/ATMs/POS; diversified products and services to optimally meet the demands of customers. Sacombank currently has more than 250 products and services to serve corporate and individual customers. On average, each customer uses at least 3 products and services. The number of banks and e-wallets link to Sacombank services are more than 110 and 30 respectively.
Sacombank is also marked as the " Outstanding Bank for Community Award 2023" thanks to years of accompanying community with practical and meaningful events such as: humanitarian blood donation program "Sacombank shares from the heart", scholarship for students who overcome difficulties and achieve excellence results "Sacombank - Nurturing dreams scholarship"; the program to build community cultural houses for ethnic minorities "Steps for the community"; contribute to rural construction, infrastructure development, etc.
At the same time, there was the seminar "Digital Transformation in the field of Finance - Banking and Fintech - Personal Data" featured Mr. Pham Duc Duy – Sacombank’s Director of the Management and Business Development Center, Personal Banking Division on the sector "Digital product and service development activities in the field of finance - banking". Over the years, Sacombank has been continuously investing in infrastructure and applied advanced technology to create a solid foundation for digital transformation. In 2021, the Digital Transformation Center (DTC) was established to promote the Bank's digitalization according to four core elements: technology infrastructure, comprehensive digital solutions, digital products and services, digital people and digital thinking. Up to now, many important projects have been implemented such as the Omnichannel digital banking platform; high-tech products and services such as international cards with 1 chip Sacombank Mastercard Only One; automated trading machines; data quality governance framework; Microservices architecture system and APIs ecosystem, etc.
