Join in “Cashless day” with Sacombank

The program was attended by Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Kim Anh, Leaders of the Departments of the National Bank and leaders of agencies in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and more than 4,500 runners, who are Sacombank’s customers, employees, and readers of Tuoi Tre newspaper have registered the distance of 3km for women and 5km for men. With every runner, Sacombank contributed VND 100,000 to the "The Dream of Thuy" program to support Vietnamese children. In addition, three international card organizations, Master, Union Pay International and JCB, also contributed 150 million VND, bringing the total amount of charity activities to the program up to 600 million VND.

With the motto “Focusing on customers” and anticipating the trend of developing cashless payment, Sacombank is one of the pioneering banks to deploy electronic banking services in Vietnam since 10 years ago. Up to now, Sacombank is also one of a few banks that has built a modern and secure technology and products, services infrastructure, according to international standards such as electronic banking system, domestic and international cards, Sacombank Pay financial management application ... to provide customers with safe, convenient and modern non-cash payment tools. 

In the run, runners were provided with Sacombank tools to experience and enjoy the incentives of cashless payment technologies. Specifically, Sacombank has launched many on-site experience programs with new payment technologies, discount programs of up to 30% (maximum VND 200,000/person) when customers shop at the food venues around the event area, the free program for all fee transactions when using E-banking services, the program of refunding VND 100,000 for the first 5,000 customers to spend via successful card with a minimum value of VND 200,000 on June 16, 2019. In addition, to promote cashless payment in the community, Sacombank is implementing many promotions to spend via card, electronic banking and mobile applications.

Promotion program "Summer fun shopping - Discover the United States" for all individual customers owning Sacombank international cards, according to which every VND 500,000 spent shopping with cards, customers will be accumulated 1 golden coin, the number of golden coins accumulated is doubled for overseas transactions and accumulated on cards of the same brand. 4 customers who accumulate the most golden coins will receive a VND 100 million travel voucher from Sacombank (for traveling to the US or any other country). The program "Discover new features with Sacombank Pay", discount 50% conversion fee when registering to pay by installments on the application payment, immediately donate VND 50,000 to Sacombank Pay account for customers to make additional links domestic card of other banks into the application.

With that goal in March this year, Ms. Nguyen Duc Thach Diem - CEO Sacombank launched a series of "Sacombank Youth" program with the introduction of 4 clubs of yoga, tennis, modern dance and running. By organizing the running track and the creation of the clubs, Sacombank hopes to create a playground to connect sports lovers and spread the message of physical health - strong spirit to all employees and community.
