Sacombank buys watermelon to support farmers

The entire budget of nearly VND 200 million for purchasing and transporting is deducted from the union fund of Sacombank. By this action, Sacombank wishes to share with farmers to increase consumption of agricultural products in the context of export restriction due to the impact of COVID-19 disease, and spontaneously spreading the spirit of social supporting in the community.
Previously, during the last days of January and February 2020, Sacombank organized the 17th annual charity named Warm Spring with the theme "Spreading Happiness – Spreading Love" in 52 provinces and cities of Vietnam and first time came to 2 neighboring countries Laos, Cambodia to share the joy of spring in order to celebrate the Year of the Rat 2020 to the citizens living in difficulty, with a total budget of more than VND 8 billion was extracted from welfare fund, union fund and the contribution of staff. Accordingly, Sacombank's leaders and employees present directly to more than 200 charities locations, schools, hospitals... and organized visiting activities, encouraging, organizing music festival events, giving out gifts for the elderly and disadvantaged children, disabled people, poor households.
