Sacombank and Dai-ichi Life Vietnam celebrate the 5th anniversary of cooperation

On 6/9/2017, Sacombank and Dai-ichi Life Vietnam signed an exclusive insurance agency contract with a term of 20 years, marking a historic milestone in the bancassurance business in Vietnam, between a bank with a long history of operation, wide network scale and top service quality, and a Japanese life insurance enterprise with leading brand reputation, product quality and market share.

Representatives of the Department of the Insurance Supervisory Authority, the Ministry of Finance; representatives of the SBV – HCMC Branch; representatives of HCMC Sponsoring Association For Poor Patients and customers raised a toast to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the cooperation between Sacombank and Dai-ichi Life Vietnam.

After more than 5 years of implementation, the bancassurance cooperation channel between Sacombank and Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has achieved many impressive results, providing financial protection solutions for more than 460,000 Sacombank customers’ families with total insurance premium until 30/9/2022 reaching more than VND 7,880 billion; and simultaneously supporting benefits for more than 6,000 customers with an amount of money up to VND 215 billion. Especially, Sacombank has always been on the top of the bancassurance market in 2022. Besides business results, the 2nd year contract retention index (K2) reaches nearly 90%, which is a measure of consulting quality and customer care of Sacombank. At the same time, Sacombank and Dai-ichi Life Vietnam also strengthen coaching, training and fostering knowledge, skills and ethics for insurance consultants; as well as regularly applying a series of attractive policies, bringing the best experience to customers participating in insurance.

Besides business effort, Sacombank and Dai-ichi Life Vietnam also implemented many meaningful activities to support community, such as donating houses of love, sponsoring a clean water program for school and thousands of scholarships for students who suffering difficult circumstances with a total of contribution more than VND 5 billion.

Marking the 5th anniversary of cooperation, Sacombank and Dai-ichi Life Vietnam were honored to receive the award "Best Bancassurance Provider Vietnam 2022" by Global Banking & Finance Awards in London, voted and awarded by UK. Previously, in 2021, the efforts of Sacombank and Dai-ichi Life Vietnam were also highly appreciated and voted to be “the Most Trusted Bancassurance Provider Vietnam” by Finance Derivative - a prestigious magazine specializing in business and financial analysis in the Netherlands.
