Brand Finance: Sacombank ranks among the top 22 most valuable brands in Vietnam
11/10/2024The ranking was revealed at the Vietnam Global Brand Summit, co-organized by Brand Finance and Vietnam Brand Purpose, on the morning of 11/10/2024, in HCMC. According to Brand Finance, despite continued market challenges and weakened domestic demand, the Vietnamese banking sector experienced good growth, with 17/20 banks on the list reporting an increase in brand value. Compared to 2023, the brand value of all 20 banks in the Top 100 increased by 10%, reaching a total of USD 13.8 billion.
Sacombank’s brand value grew by over 20%, reaching USD 473 million. Its Brand Rating was classified as AA+, and its Brand Strength Index (BSI) scored 77.31 points. As a result, Sacombank ranked in the Top 22 Most Valuable Brands in Vietnam for 2024 and the Top 9 Most Valuable Banking Brands in Vietnam for 2024.

Earlier, in March 2024, Sacombank was also ranked 322nd among the world’s top 500 most valuable banks by Brand Finance, a leap of 100 places compared to 2020, the first year Sacombank appeared in the ranking. These key rankings are not only a testament to Sacombank’s development but also proof of the bank’s outstanding potential and competitive ability both domestically and internationally.
