SACOMBANK waives all outstanding debt for two orphaned brothers in Da Nang City

In recent days, the media and mass communication channels have reported on the tragic circumstances of L.V.H.A and L.V.H.P in Tay Ho Commune, Da Nang. Their parents, Mr. L.N.T and Ms. N.T.T, tragically passed away in an accident, leaving their two young sons of school age without an income.

At the time of the incident, the brothers’ parents had outstanding loans totaling approximately VND 1.7 billion with SACOMBANK – Quang Nam Branch, including outstanding credit card balances. The loans had previously been covered by insurance, but the coverage was discontinued after the first year. The family home was used as collateral, and the loans had subsequently become overdue.

Immediately after receiving the information, representatives of SACOMBANK – Quang Nam Branch visited the family to offer their condolences and provided VND 10 million in financial assistance to help cover funeral expenses. After comprehensively reviewing the brothers’ circumstances, SACOMBANK decided to waive all outstanding debt obligations of Mr. L.N.T and Ms. N.T.T, allowing H.A and H.P to retain their family home.

Representing the Bank, Mr. Nguyen Van Sam, Director of SACOMBANK – Quang Nam Branch, said that SACOMBANK’s decision was driven by a deep sense of humanity, empathy and solidarity. “There is no pain greater than losing a loved one, especially when that person is a parent and the foundation of one’s life. The two brothers still have a long future ahead of them, with many challenges to overcome. We hope that our support, together with that of other benefactors, will give them the strength and confidence to focus on their studies and build a stable life,” Mr. Sam emphasized.

SACOMBANK – Quang Nam Branch will represent the Bank in notifying the two brothers of the decision and supporting them in completing the relevant procedures.
