On 21 August 2026, the SACOMBANK Trade Union, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Humanitarian Blood Donation Center, launched the blood donation program “Connecting Hearts” at the Bank’s Head Office. This marks the 14th consecutive year SACOMBANK has organized this meaningful initiative, reaffirming its commitment to the community and its sustainable development orientation.

Mr. Dao Nguyen Vu – Chairman of the SACOMBANK Trade Union – delivers the opening remarks for the 2026 “SACOMBANK – Connecting Hearts” program.

Named “Connecting Hearts,” the program conveys a message of sharing and compassion, where every donated drop of blood not only brings hope to recipients but also serves as a bridge connecting strangers through empathy and love.

On the very first day of the program, “Connecting Hearts” received enthusiastic participation from more than 400 employees in Ho Chi Minh City. Notably, members of the Bank’s BOM personally took part in the blood donation, helping support and spread the meaningful message of the program. Through these practical acts of kindness, more than 580 units of blood were donated, helping replenish blood supplies for emergency care and treatment at medical facilities across the city.

“Through this program, our goal is not only to fulfill our responsibility to the community, but also to help raise awareness of the importance of voluntary blood donation. At the same time, by coming together to carry out meaningful activities, SACOMBANK is nurturing a corporate culture rooted in humanity, strengthening team bonds through acts of kindness, and creating motivation for employees to bring the core values pursued by our brand to life,” Mr. Vu shared.

This year, the program is scheduled to take place from 21 August through 30 November 2026 at SACOMBANK branches and transaction offices nationwide. The total number of blood units contributed by SACOMBANK to the healthcare sector is expected to reach several thousand.
