Easily link Sacombank account to VNeID App for Social Security payments

VNeID is a mobile application developed by the National Population Data Center under Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security, aiming to replace traditional paper documentation. Built on a national identity, residency, and electronic verification database, VNeID offers a range of services to support digital citizenship, government, and society, including various digital financial services that are being integrated into the platform.

Through this initiative, Sacombank enables customers to link or update their Sacombank payment accounts within VNeID, making it easier to receive social security benefits and public service payments (e.g., pensions, unemployment benefits, poverty allowances, and support for veterans) directly into their accounts. The payment schedule depends on the progress of related authorities.

For quick and convenient access to government benefits, customers can either open an account online via Sacombank Pay or visit the nearest Sacombank branch to open a dedicated social security account with attractive benefits. Customers can link their account to the VNeID app by following these steps:

Step 1: Log in to VNeID and select "Social Security."

Step 2: Choose "Social Security Payment Account."

Step 3: Select the “Sacombank” logo when linking for the first time or go to “Registration History” and select “Change Account” to update the linked account.

Step 4:

- Enter your Sacombank account number.

- Agree to the data-sharing terms by selecting "I have read and agree to the purpose of data sharing."

- Click "Continue" to submit the request.

Step 5: Go to “Registration History” to check the information submitted.

“The successful integration of social security account linking on VNeID, in collaboration with the Residential Data and Citizen Identity Application Center (RAR Center) under the Ministry of Public Security, demonstrates Sacombank’s capabilities and readiness to support the National Digital Transformation Strategy, including the Government’s Project 06,” a Sacombank representative shared.

Looking ahead, Sacombank plans to work closely with the RAR Center and other specialized entities to introduce additional banking services on the VNeID platform, providing citizens with enhanced financial solutions.
