Paying Hai Phong Port Infrastructure fees at Sacombank

15/08/2024

To promote cashless payments in line with the Government's policy, Sacombank has recently launched a service to collect Hai Phong port infrastructure fees through the electronic portal of the General Department of Customs.

Accordingly, businesses engaged in import and export activities can easily pay for the use of infrastructure, and public utility services in the Hai Phong seaport area at any Sacombank transaction point nationwide with a quick and efficient process. Alternatively, businesses only need to open a payment account at Sacombank and register for the 24/7 Import and Export Tax Payment Service through the electronic portal of the General Department of Customs to be able to pay Hai Phong port infrastructure fees as well as import and export taxes anytime, anywhere. This service helps business customers proactively save time on administrative procedures, thereby boosting import and export activities.

Since 2015, Sacombank has been one of the first banks to connect with the General Department of Taxation and the General Department of Customs to deploy the State Budget Collection service, allowing customers to pay domestic taxes, import and export taxes, fees, and charges through various channels such as at the counter, 24/7 digital banking, or via the electronic portal of the General Department of Taxation/General Department of Customs. Additionally, since 2023, Sacombank has established a bilateral connection with the State Treasury, ensuring that the status of customers' state budget transactions is updated instantly, as tax payments are directly credited to the State Treasury's account at Sacombank, thereby facilitating quick customs clearance and tax payment acknowledgment.

Sacombank's collaboration with entities involved in state budget payments not only helps optimize the business efficiency of enterprises but also contributes to the promotion of economic and social development.
