Sacombank Organizes the 12th "Sacombank - Sharing from the Heart" blood donation program

On the morning of 16/08, the launching ceremony of the program took place at Sacombank’s headquarters, where over 550 Sacombank employees from HCMC participated in the blood donation, contributing more than 750 blood units to the reserve used for emergency care and patient treatment at local medical facilities.
“With the spirit of ‘one blood away, a life stays’, blood donation has become a traditional activity, organized annually at Sacombank for the past 12 years. The program reflects our responsibility and spirit of sharing with the community and society; it is a beautiful aspect of corporate culture that Sacombank will continue to preserve and promote," said Mr. Le Duc Thinh, Deputy CEO and Vice Chairman of the Sacombank Trade Union, at the program's launching ceremony.
From now until 16/10/2024, the "Sacombank - Sharing from the Heart" blood donation program will continue to be organized by various Sacombank branches and transaction offices. All collected blood will be received, preserved, and added to the blood bank by the Red Cross Society and local medical units, timely providing blood for patients in need of treatment.

In addition to the humanitarian blood donation program "Sacombank - Sharing from the Heart," the bank is also engaging in various other community activities, including the "Sacombank – Nurturing Dreams" scholarship to contribute to educational development, the "Warm Spring" program to bring warmth to the elderly and disadvantaged children during Tet, the cross-country competition "Running with Sacombank for Community Health" to promote the spirit of exercising for health, and the "Steps for the Community" running program aimed at raising funds to construct community cultural houses for ethnic minorities.
With the motto "Accompanying Development," Sacombank, over the past 32 years, has always placed social activities on par with its business plans, aspiring to make a comprehensive contribution not only to the prosperity of the economy but also to the sustainability of society.
