Sacombank makes the “Top 50 Best-Performing Companies in Vietnam” for the 3rd time

The Top 50 is a valuable and reputable ranking conducted annually by Nhịp Cầu Đầu Tư in collaboration with Thiên Việt Securities Company, with consultation from leading economic and business experts. The ranking measures the business performance of companies over three consecutive years, based on three growth indicators: revenue, return on equity (ROE), and earnings per share (EPS). The objective evaluation aims to assess the management capabilities of enterprises. 

Aligned to become Vietnam’s leading modern, multi-functional retail bank, Sacombank has continuously optimized the operations, applied digital transformation in management, and leveraged advanced technologies to enhance product and service quality. Over the past three years, these efforts have brought superior value to customers, partners, and shareholders sustainably. 

Thanks to collective efforts, Sacombank achieved a pre-tax profit of VND 9,595 billion in 2023, up 51.4% compared to 2022. The ROE reached 18.30%, an increase of 4.47%, and EPS amounted to VND 4,094 billion, up 72%. By the end of 2024, Sacombank’s estimated pre-tax profit exceeded VND 12,000 billion, reflecting a 30% growth. Its ROE is projected to reach 20%, surpassing the targets set by the General Shareholders' Meeting. These outstanding results were achieved despite the domestic economic challenges and significant fluctuations in the international financial markets. 

According to the organizers, the Top 50 companies honored have made remarkable strides and substantial contributions to Vietnam’s economic growth. 

In addition to making the Top 50 Best-Performing Companies in Vietnam, Sacombank achieved several other notable recognitions in 2024, such as Vietnam Strong Brand  for 13 consecutive years, awarded by Vietnam Economic Times – VnEconomy; named among the Top 22 Most Valuable Brands in Vietnam and recognized as the Bank with the Highest Brand Value in the World by Brand Finance, a leading global brand valuation consultancy; For the 7th consecutive year, Sacombank was recognized at the Outstanding Vietnam Banks Awards organized by the International Data Group (IDG) in collaboration with the Vietnam Banks Association (VNBA) and other industry bodies.
