Sacombank Pay upgrades to new version, enhancing customer experience and convenience

Sacombank customers can now update their biometric data quickly and conveniently through a direct connection with VNeID, in addition to existing methods such as scanning the chip on their Citizen ID card (via NFC) or visiting a Sacombank Branch/Transaction Office. This is one of the standout features of the newly released Sacombank Pay version 2.4.4.

The VNeID biometric update option is available to customers who have completed Level 2 authentication on VNeID and upgraded to the latest version of Sacombank Pay. With just a few simple steps, customers can update their biometric data directly within the app without requiring an NFC-enabled phone. This enhances security for electronic transactions while also optimizing the user experience. The process includes:

1. Selecting the “Biometrics” feature on Sacombank Pay

2. Choosing “Edit” and selecting “Electronic Identification Account (VNeID)” to update personal information

3. Capturing the front of the Citizen ID card, scanning the QR code on the ID, and performing facial recognition

4. Verifying the information, authenticating, and logging into the VNeID app to share data

Additionally, the updated Sacombank Pay version expands money transfer convenience through an integrated payment feature with Zalo. When receiving account details (including an account number and beneficiary bank) or a VietQR code via Zalo messages, users can simply tap “Transfer Money”, select Sacombank from the list of banking apps, and have the transaction instantly redirected to Sacombank Pay with pre-filled account details. This saves time, minimizes manual input, and reduces errors. Customers using Zalo can also scan VietQR codes at stores for seamless payments.

Notably, starting now, all customers, including foreigners, can register for Sacombank Pay at a branch, unlocking access to comprehensive digital banking features tailored to both personal and professional financial needs. Furthermore, Sacombank has expanded its bill payment partner list within the app, adding Shinhan Finance, AIA Insurance, and CP Foods, providing customers with more payment options and greater convenience.
