Sacombank was recently honored once again as one of the “Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2025” by HR Asia, the region’s leading HR magazine. This marks the fifth consecutive year the Bank has received this prestigious title, reaffirming its commitment and persistent efforts in pursuing a sustainable human resource development strategy while building a modern, people-centric, and progressive working environment.

In addition, Sacombank was proudly named among the Top 20 enterprises to receive the “Tech Empowerment Awards”, recognizing its outstanding achievements in applying digital technology to enhance HR management efficiency and improve the employee experience.

Multi-generation, Multi-value: A sustainable source of strength

With the 2025 theme “Multi-Generation Synergy – The Power of Diversity”, HR Asia highly commended Sacombank’s multi-generational workforce model, comprising more than 16,000 employees across age groups with diverse experiences and perspectives - from seasoned leadership to dynamic, creative Gen Z talents. This diversity fosters a rich workplace culture that drives innovation and sustainable growth.

Recognizing shifts in workforce structure and future labor demand, Sacombank prioritizes attracting and nurturing young talent as a critical factor for long-term growth. In 2025 alone, the Bank engaged with over 5,000 students through career workshops, company tours, internships, and scholarship programs designed to support and inspire them on their educational journeys. Since 2004, Sacombank has awarded more than 46,300 scholarships worth nearly VND 72 billion.

Alongside youth development, Sacombank also makes substantial investments in its core workforce through high-quality training programs aimed at building teams that are professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, and innovative. These initiatives form a solid foundation for developing the next generation of Sacombank leaders.

In terms of HR policy overall, Sacombank has consistently identified people as the core element of its sustainable development strategy. Over the years, the Bank has continuously improved its compensation and benefits to motivate and retain employees. In 2024, the average employee income increased by 10.3% compared to the previous year. Competitive salary and bonus policies are complemented by comprehensive benefits, including life insurance, annual health check-up packages, and family support programs through gifts and banking privileges.

Digital transformation in HR Management – A sustainable growth driver

The “Tech Empowerment Awards” stand as a clear testament to Sacombank’s comprehensive digital transformation in human resource management. The Bank does not regard technology merely as an operational tool but as a strategic foundation to enhance the employee experience and foster a modern, efficient workplace.

Through strategic partnerships with Microsoft Vietnam and other leading technology providers, Sacombank has strengthened management capabilities, optimized HR data utilization, introduced digital skills training, and expanded applications of AI-driven banking and robotic process automation (RPA). These advancements have significantly improved productivity, reduced manual tasks, and alleviated workload pressures. Furthermore, the Bank has developed its internal learning system into an open platform, enabling employees across generations and job functions to conveniently access training programs anytime, anywhere.

A Sacombank representative emphasized: “We believe that every Sacombank member is a brand ambassador. Being recognized for five consecutive years by HR Asia as one of Asia’s Best Companies to Work For reflects our spirit of innovation, commitment, and strong employee engagement with the Bank’s sustainable development strategy. This honor motivates us to continually enhance our progressive, people-centric, and sustainable work environment that meets the aspirations of all Sacombank generations.”

The “Best Companies to Work for in Asia” award, organized by HR Asia, involves a rigorous evaluation process consisting of 70% anonymous employee surveys based on the T.E.A.M. model (Thought – Emotion – Action – Motivation) and 30% from leadership interviews and independent assessments by an international expert panel. Sacombank’s dual recognition - winning both the main award and the special technology award - underscores its comprehensive commitment to human capital development, rooted not only in policies but also in long-term vision and strategy.
