Sacombank expands 24/7 automated transaction machine (STM) system

On 26/9/2025, in the residential area of Tay Ninh Hoa, Khanh Haa, Sacombank continued to roll out its STM system as part of its expansion plan following a successful pilot phase at select key branches and transaction offices. The growing demand for transactions and positive customer feedback have driven the Bank to expand this model, offering greater coverage and more flexible service hours.

The introduction of STMs not only optimizes the Bank’s operational network and enhances efficiency but also creates a new, intelligent transaction space where customers can fully experience modern banking services, available 24/7.

Customers can now perform common counter transactions – such as opening payment accounts, depositing or withdrawing cash, opening or closing savings accounts, and issuing physical cards – completely autonomously and quickly through the STM.

No longer constrained by service hours or long queues, customers can transact with confidence thanks to secure, clearly defined authentication processes. For additional support, customers can connect directly with a customer service representative via the STM’s video call feature for detailed guidance.

“The comprehensive digital transformation across all sectors and Industry 4.0 technologies have reshaped customer habits and behaviors. In response to this trend, our digital transaction points with STM systems were introduced as a convergence of technology and service, delivering greater value and complete customer satisfaction”, a Sacombank representative stated.

In the near future, Sacombank plans to expand this model to other areas in HCMC, Hanoi, and other key regions, aiming to fully meet customers’ banking needs through a completely automated format.
