Sacombank joins “Cashless Day 2025” to promote the digital economy

In alignment with the Government and the State Bank of Vietnam’s strategy to promote cashless payments, Sacombank continues to lead the way in fostering modern consumption behaviors as a Silver Sponsor of Cashless Day 2025. Organized by the Payment Department (State Bank of Vietnam), Banking Times, and Tuoi Tre Newspaper, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade and the National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (NAPAS), the event carries the theme “Cashless Payments Drive the Digital Economy.”

Through a series of activities, the organizers, Sacombank, and other participating entities aim to reinforce digital payment habits, promote modern payment methods, and enhance consumer knowledge on smart financial practices - while spreading awareness of the positive impacts of cashless payments on Vietnam’s economy in the era of global integration.

At the Ting Ting Day Cashless Payment Festival - the event’s highlight - taking place from 7:30 AM on 14/06/2025 to 9:00 PM on 15/06/2025 at Nguyen Hue Walking Street (District 1, HCMC), Sacombank’s experiential booth will welcome visitors with practical gifts and demonstrations of modern green-consumption payment methods through Sacombank Pay, Sacombank Mastercard MultiPass, Sacombank Mastercard Metro Pass, and the Visa Platinum O₂ card.

In parallel, Sacombank is launching a promotional campaign titled “Paving the Way for a Green Lifestyle – Igniting a Digital Style,” running through 30/06/ 2025. Customers using the Sacombank Mastercard MultiPass will enjoy a lifetime annual fee waiver and receive 100% cashback on transactions made via automatic ticket gates at metro stations and buses. Similarly, the Sacombank Mastercard Metro Pass offers 100% cashback on fare payments at metro stations. Holders of the Visa Platinum O₂ card can earn 10% cashback - up to VND 300,000 - on purchases made at eco-friendly brands such as Decathlon, Vinamilk, and Xanh SM.

Additionally, the campaign rewards users with VND 50,000 for each successful referral to open a Sacombank Pay account. Online savings accounts opened during the promotional period can enjoy interest rates up to 0.7% per year higher than over-the-counter deposits. Customers will also receive 50% cashback, up to VND 25,000, on mobile top-ups, among many other attractive offers available during the campaign.
