In July 2025, the HCMC People’s Committee transferred the HCMC Football Club to the HCMC Police, renaming it the HCMC Police Football Club. On 8/8/2025, the club held a grand launch ceremony, showcasing a notable lineup of players and coaching staff, led by Head Coach Le Huynh Duc. Standout players include striker Nguyen Tien Linh, midfielder Pham Duc Huy, goalkeeper Patrik Le Giang, and high-quality foreign players such as Matheus Felipe, Raphael, and others.

This investment in talent has laid a strong foundation for the club’s return to the V-League, propelling them to the top 3 with 10 points after five rounds – an impressive start. With an increasingly stable squad, high team spirit, and convincing performances, particularly a 3-1 victory in the derby against Becamex HCMC, the HCMC Police Football Club is poised for significant opportunities in their quest to conquer this season.
