Mr. Trần Anh Việt – Member of the Board of Management of SACOMBANK (third from the left) – together with representatives of credit institutions, presents symbolic donations supporting humanitarian activities at the Launch Ceremony for Humanitarian Month 2026.
Humanitarian Month 2026, themed “80 Years – A Journey of Compassion for the Community,” will take place nationwide throughout May in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.
The program not only continues the tradition of compassion and national unity, but also aims to further promote humanitarian values across society; strengthen the role of the Vietnam Red Cross Society in connecting and coordinating social resources; and accelerate digital transformation in humanitarian activities to enhance transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency.
Resources mobilized during this year’s Humanitarian Month will focus on two major priorities: creating sustainable livelihoods and strengthening social welfare in Vietnam through financial support, production tools, healthcare assistance, and disaster relief; while also joining efforts to support people in countries heavily affected by natural disasters, pandemics, and instability, thereby contributing to the image of a humane, responsible, and peace-loving Vietnam.
As a bank that remains committed to development closely linked with social responsibility, SACOMBANK views its participation in Humanitarian Month 2026 as a continuation of its long-standing journey for the community, while reaffirming its commitment to accompanying the major policies of the Party, the Government, and social organizations in building a compassionate and sustainably developed society.
“For us, sustainable development is not measured solely by business performance, but also by the positive values we contribute to society. Supporting Humanitarian Month 2026 is how SACOMBANK continues to spread the spirit of sharing and compassion, provide practical support to disadvantaged people, and contribute to building a more humane and progressive society,” a SACOMBANK representative shared.
Over the years, alongside its business activities, SACOMBANK has consistently dedicated substantial resources to social welfare programs nationwide, focusing on education, healthcare, support for vulnerable groups, community development, and participation in large-scale national social initiatives.
Through this program, SACOMBANK hopes to work together with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, the State Bank of Vietnam, and organizations and businesses nationwide to create a collective impact, making Humanitarian Month 2026 a true peak period of action for people, for the community, and for a sustainably developed and compassionate Vietnam.
