SACOMBANK receives Standard Chartered’s international payment excellence award for the fifth consecutive year

The award is presented by Standard Chartered to banks demonstrating exceptional payment quality based on stringent criteria, including straight-through processing (STP) rates, data accuracy, transaction speed, and compliance with international standards.

In 2025, SACOMBANK achieved an international payment STP rate of up to 99%, reflecting its ability to process transactions quickly and accurately while minimizing manual intervention. This result stems from the Bank’s strong investment in technology, process standardization, and continuous enhancement of staff expertise.

Notably, SACOMBANK was the first bank in Vietnam to successfully upgrade its Core Banking system to T24 R25, one of the world’s most advanced core banking platforms. At the same time, the Bank has been a pioneer in implementing SWIFT GPI, SWIFT Pre-validation, and the SWIFT ISO 20022 messaging standard, helping optimize transaction processing speed, increase automation, enhance customer experience, and meet international security requirements.

In parallel, SACOMBANK continues to expand its cross-border payment connectivity with key markets such as China, South Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos, with the goal of building a seamless, convenient, and secure international payment ecosystem for both individual and corporate customers.
