Sacombank to accept American Express cards on its payment network in Vietnam

From 22 May, Sacombank will progressively enable its payment network to accept American Express cardmembers to have access its 170.000 Point of Sales (POS) payment facilities in stores and via contactless and online. 

With this partnership, Sacombank becomes one of the local banks with the largest network of payment cards in Vietnam, accepting American Express, Visa, Mastercard, JCB, UnionPay and Napas. In addition, this also improves and diversifies Sacombank’s products and services for its customers and merchants, in line with its aim of becoming the leading modern and multi-functional retail bank in Vietnam. 

For merchants in Vietnam, they will be able to expand their customer base, increase sales opportunities, enhance brand awareness and promote business efficiency by accepting American Express’ 122 million cardmembers worldwide.
