Sacombank upgrades 11 saving funds to transaction offices

Sacombank hold grand opening for 11 transaction offices which upgraded from savings funds in accordance to Official Letter No. 1990 / NHNN-TTGSNH dated 24 March 2017 of the State Bank of Vietnam.

Not only performing specialized tasks such as: mobilizing deposits, issuing and discounting valuable papers, paying  remittances, transferring money domestically... within the Savings Fund, the brand new transaction office allowed all commercial banking activities including: receiving deposits in VND, USD; financing loans for business and personal customers to serve business and consumption needs, fast money transferring through transaction offices in 48/63 provinces and cities of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia; Providing services such as: card, e-banking, underwriting, secured payment, pay wages, foreign exchange activities, overseas remittance, financial advisory services and other activities.
The transaction offices opened simultaneously include:
- Hanoi Area: Kim Ma Transaction Office, Bach Mai Transaction Office (belonging to Hang Bai Branch); Hoang Dao Thuy Transaction Office, Nghia Do Transaction Office (belonging to Thanh Xuan Branch);
- Ho Chi Minh City Area: Hoang Van Thu Transaction Office (belonging to Nguyen Van Troi Branch), Nguyen Trai 2 Transaction Office (belonging to Ly Thai To Branch);
- South Central & Highland Area: Thang Loi sub-branch (belonging to Khanh Hoa branch), Tan Loi branch (belonging to Dak Lak branch);
- South East Area: Phu Loi Transaction Office (directly belonging to Ben Cat Branch);
- South West Area: An Nghiep Transaction Office (belonging to Can Tho Branch), Nguyen Hue Transaction Office (directly under Vinh Long Branch);
The grand opening of 11 transaction offices under the restructuring plan and network development strategy of Sacombank. Up to now, Sacombank's network has 564 transaction points, 109 branches and 443 sub-branches; 2 subsidiaries, 9 oversea branches and 1 oversea transaction offices in Laos and Cambodia.
