Sacombank offers loans for Duc Hoa III – SLICO industrial park project

On May 15, 2020, Mr. Duong Cong Minh, Chairman and Ms. Nguyen Duc Thach Diem, Board Member cum CEO of Sacombank attended the ground-breaking ceremony of Duc Hoa III – SLICO industrial park in the presence of Mr. Truong Tan Sang, former Member of the Politburo – former President and leaders of Long An province.
This is a project invested by Sai Gon – Long An Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction Investment Joint Stock Company (SLICO) and Minh Duc LA Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, Him Lam Real Estate Joint Stock Company is the adviser and Sacombank is the lender.
The project of Duc Hoa III – SLICO Industrial Park has a total area of 196 hectares. This is the third largest industrial zone in cluster of 13 industrial zones in Duc Hoa III. SLICO is oriented in the form of industrial parks – urban areas – modern services, with total registered investment capital of VND 388 billion. Regarding internal infrastructure connection, in addition to 2 4-lane roads (36m road, D1 road), SLICO Industrial Park also spent more than 26 hectares to build internal road system and 41.94 hectares for green area and water surface, set aside 2 hectares for warehousing, as well as synchronously investing in technical infrastructure and services to meet the specific needs of the auxiliary and processing industry.
Possessing great advantages of transport infrastructure, along with its strategic location, SLICO Industrial Park is expected to become an important link in the southern industrial supply chain, which is the gateway to consume agricultural, forestry and fishery products for Mekong Delta and Central Highlands. In particular, SLICO industrial park is also surrounded by the industrial park ecosystem (including 13 Duc Hoa III Industrial Zones, Xuyen A Industrial Park and Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park). Therefore, from SLICO, businesses can easily connect and cooperate with each other, contributing to making Duc Hoa district in particular and Long An province in general to become a national supporting and processing industry center.
It is expected that Duc Hoa III – SLICO Industrial Park will be finished and put into operation in 2023.
