Sacombank sustains leadership in Visa card payment volume in Vietnam

Demonstrating pioneering and remarkable card business outcomes, Sacombank secured these prestigious awards for the seventh consecutive year. The 5 key accolades received by Sacombank from Visa in 2023 include Leadership in Payment Volume 2023, Leadership in Credit Payment Volume 2023, Leadership in Merchant Sales Volume 2023, Leadership in Acceptance Network Coverage 2023, Leadership in Commercial Card Activation Growth 2023.

Continuing its commitment to being a leading retail bank, Sacombank consistently invests in the development of versatile card products to fulfill the diverse payment needs of both individual and corporate customers.

In June 2023, Sacombank introduced the UNIQ Platinum Visa card line, integrating debit and credit cards on the same chip, offering up to 50% cashback and enhancing choice and convenience for customers. Pioneering in the high-end card segment, Sacombank remains the first bank to issue Visa Infinite cards, known as the "king card line," catering to VIP customers since 2017 and currently holding the largest number of Infinite cards in the market. With a diverse range of card offerings, exceptional card features, and a commitment to integrating new payment methods, Sacombank has significantly contributed to its position among the top banks with the highest total Visa card payment transaction volume in Vietnam, reaching USD 2.3 billion. This represents a notable 49% increase over the same period, surpassing the market average growth rate of 31%. In the card acceptance segment, Sacombank's total sales from Visa card payments exceeded USD 3.3 billion, marking a 47% growth over the same period and surpassing the market average growth rate of 39%.
