Sacombank and Dai-ichi Life Vietnam’s continual commitment to support the less fortunate

Ceremony sponsoring treatment costs and providing nutritional gifts for pediatric cancer patients in difficult circumstances in HCMC.

On 29/11/2023, Sacombank and Dai-ichi Life Vietnam sponsored treatment costs and provided nutritional gifts totaling VND 500 million for 25 child cancer patients undergoing treatment at the HCMC Oncology Hospital. This gesture aimed to instill motivation and confidence in these young warriors as they battled against life-threatening diseases. Subsequently, the two corporations also allocated VND 600 million to collaborate with medical facilities, implementing the "Free Eye Surgery - Restoring Vision for People in Difficult Circumstances" program, benefiting 353 cataract patients in Ca Mau, Binh Dinh, and Quang Nam.

In the first half of 2023, the program further dedicated VND 1 billion to accompany 1,000 cataract patients in Kien Giang, Lam Dong, and Tay Ninh.
