What is the processing time and notification of results for health care/hospital support insurance benefit claims?
- Dai-ichi Life Vietnam receives and processes claims. Depending on the case, you may be asked to provide additional information/document proof.
- The processing time and notification of results is a maximum of 30 days from the date of receiving the complete request (for health care/hospital support insurance benefit claims, the time is 15 days, up to 45 days depending on the case).

What are the payment methods when receiving insurance benefits?
- Payment information (cash, bank transfer, etc.) must be clearly stated in the Request for Settlement of Insurance Benefits (according to the form).
- Specific information and documents required will depend on each type of insurance benefit requested, as listed below. For copies/photos of documents, in some cases, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam may require you to provide the original for comparison.
- In addition, depending on the specific case, you may be required to provide additional information/documents to ensure that your request is fully and accurately considered and compliant with the provisions of the insurance contract.

What documents/evidence are required to receive insurance benefits?
- If the recipient is not the person entitled to receive insurance benefits: ID card/passport (copy) of the recipient and power of attorney.
- If the recipient is the policyholder/insured person/beneficiary: ID card/passport (copy) if it has been renewed with different information from the information on the ID card/passport previously provided to Dai-ichi Life Vietnam.

General requirements when settling insurance benefits?
- Consent form for information collection (depending on the case).
- Documents/evidence of insurance events (hospitalization, accidents, death, etc.) and the causes leading to the events (accident reports, investigation conclusions, etc.).
- Documents/evidence of the right to receive insurance benefits: documents related to inheritance (estate division, wills, etc.) regarding the death of the insured person if the insurance contract does not designate a beneficiary and the policyholder has died.
- Other insurance benefits do not require proof of the right to receive benefits because these benefits will be paid to the insured person (health care, hospital support) or the policyholder.
