  • Dai-ichi Life Vietnam receives and processes claims. Depending on the case, you may be asked to provide additional information/document proof.
  • The processing time and notification of results is a maximum of 30 days from the date of receiving the complete request (for health care/hospital support insurance benefit claims, the time is 15 days, up to 45 days depending on the case).
2
What are the payment methods when receiving insurance benefits?
  • Payment information (cash, bank transfer, etc.) must be clearly stated in the Request for Settlement of Insurance Benefits (according to the form).
  • Specific information and documents required will depend on each type of insurance benefit requested, as listed below. For copies/photos of documents, in some cases, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam may require you to provide the original for comparison.
  • In addition, depending on the specific case, you may be required to provide additional information/documents to ensure that your request is fully and accurately considered and compliant with the provisions of the insurance contract.
3
What documents/evidence are required to receive insurance benefits?
  • If the recipient is not the person entitled to receive insurance benefits: ID card/passport (copy) of the recipient and power of attorney.

  • Consent form for information collection (depending on the case).

  • Documents/evidence of the right to receive insurance benefits: documents related to inheritance (estate division, wills, etc.) regarding the death of the insured person if the insurance contract does not designate a beneficiary and the policyholder has died.
  • Other insurance benefits do not require proof of the right to receive benefits because these benefits will be paid to the insured person (health care, hospital support) or the policyholder.
